Here at All Things Wild, we value and appreciate the crucial role British Farmers play in our Country, and that's why we are celebrating Back British Farmers Day 2024 on September 11th. Here's a couple reasons why supporting these fantastic farmers can be beneficial to you, and our environment.

Eating locally sourced food means that the food will usually be fresher, providing the body with all the super important nutrients it needs!

Supporting British Farmers, especially ones in your community, ensures that they can keep maintaining farmland and green spaces in your local area.

Eating local food also reduces food miles, meaning your food doesn't have to travel as far to end up on your plate. This reduces the emissions of harmful gasses used in transporting them by vehicles like planes and boats.

So keep your eyes peeled for the Red Tractor logo when you're next out shopping, as this logo tells you that the item is British Produced and up to certain quality, environmental and hygiene standards and also ensure the production is in line with standard industry practice.
